It seems a number of TV manufacturers have exploited energy tests to make their TVs seems more eco-friendly than they actually are. The exploitation of government energy testing has been highlighted by the Natural Resources Defense Council, Samsung, LG, and Vizio TVs have their energy saving features turned on during tests, but they are disabled if and when an owner adjusts settings on their TV.
